The Burnout Recovery Project is a signature program that uses an evidence-based curriculum paired with personalized coaching to help nurses and APPs (nurse practitioners and physician associates), and physicians sustainably incorporate self-care into their demanding schedules.
You will work with a board-certified nurse coach through a 12-week modular curriculum. Each module has a video lesson, an assigned worksheet so you can apply your new knowledge, and additional resources for you to explore if something piques your interest.
We can track your burnout score using validated tools so that you can see how you're improving over time.
To enable you to receive personalized support and feedback as you make changes and implement new processes into your busy schedule.
A private-access community hub for clinicians who have completed the program and who want continued support moving forward.
Including podcasts, books, apps, and products
Each weekly video lesson has a length of 5-15 minutes.

Finish with developing your individualized shift recovery plan. This is your method for recovering after a bad day, taking excellent care of yourself, and preventing burnout in the future.
The BRP is really about closing the knowledge-execution gap. We all know what we should be doing, and know when we don't do those things. Coaching is about doing; not necessarily learning more. This means that the BRP will get you out of your comfort zone and into putting into practice the things you've learned. At the end of the program, you'll also have access to our wellness collective; a community hub for clinicians who have completed the program and who can support each other going forward.
The more you show up for the work and put things into practice, the better your results will be. BRP clients should come prepared and ready to heal their burnout. Each week, you should allocate about 1-2 hours, including content, worksheets, and coaching calls. This program, created by a practicing NP for practicing clinicians, is designed to easily fit into your busy schedule.
Coaching is client-driven process where, essentially, you're in charge. Coaching is based on the belief that you are the expert on your life and what will work best for you. This is why coaching is NOT advice giving. You identify your goals and coaches help you get there. Coaching encourages client self-discovery paired with content education to help clients get the outcomes they want.
Coaching is a partnership where you set your goals and the coach helps you get there. It is a well-defined relationship, with a defined beginning, middle and end. Coaches are trained in motivational interviewing and principles of behavior change. Coaches often complete training programs and some, like RW, are board-certified. Peer-to-peer mentorships typically aren't structured, don't have defined parameters, and don't involve extra training. Sometimes, these can turn into griping sessions, rather than productive brainstorming. Therapy focuses on chronic mental health conditions with a licensed and trained professional, someone like a psychologist or licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). These relationships may or may not be tied to specific goals, and there is no definite time frame on the patient-client relationship. Sometimes, patients work with therapists for years.
Yes! The signature program offered by Reviving Wellness, the Burnout Recovery Project, is based on a synthesis of several randomized controlled trials of coaching programs in physicians. Those programs produced significant reductions in burnout, imposter syndrome, emotional exhaustion, and overall stress levels. And now, those benefits are available to you!
At this time, we accept new groups of clinicians once per quarter. This may change in the future, based on participant feedback and overall program demand.
